Educators’ Night: Jarrett J. Krosoczka & Dr. Catherine A. Sanderson Free. Reservations are required. The Carle is pleased to welcome Jarrett J. Krosoczka and Dr. Catherine A. Sanderson as the 2026 Educators’ Night guest speakers. This event is free and open to all educators as space permits. Reservations are required. Book signing to follow program. Can’t make the event? Order books online to reserve signed books at The Carle Bookshop. Schedule of events 3:30–4:30 pm Guests will have time to browse the Museum, enjoy light refreshments, and collect free materials for their classroom. 4:30–5:30 pm Lecture followed by Q&A. 5:30–6:30 pm Book signing and Museum exploration. We ask that requests are sent at least five business days in advance of the program so we can make arrangements. Thank you! Who You’ll Meet Jarrett J. Krosoczka Jarrett J. Krosoczka is an award-winning, New York Times bestselling author and illustrator of more than forty books for young readers, including the graphic memoir Hey, Kiddo, a finalist for the National Book Award, and its follow-up Sunshine. He also created the wildly popular Lunch Lady graphic novels and has written for Spider-Man, Star Wars, and Snoopy. Realizing his books can inspire young readers beyond the page, Krosoczka founded the School Lunch Hero Day campaign and established a scholarship to fund art classes for underprivileged children in his hometown.
