The Dozens

On Saturday, August 22nd, 2026, part of West Broadway will be transformed into the city’s version of Black Wall Street with a community event being dubbed “The Dozens.” The festivities will take place from 1-6 pm. The stretch of Broadway between Logan and Penn Avenues will be transformed into an outdoor bistro, offering up a day of music, food, and family fun under the sun. There will also be activities for all ages, and a showcase highlighting “community stars.” Planning for this community celebration is being led by agencies, neighborhood organizations, and non-profits that are concerned about building a food-focused future – and an equitable, inclusive green workforce/economy.
