The Cliff Bells Big Band Presents: The Music of SUN RA

Showtimes are at 5:30p & 7:30p for this performance. Doors open at 4pm for dinner. Seating begins at 5pm for “Dinner & a Show”. The second show starts seating at 7pm Featuring: WENDELL HARRISON Under the direction of JOSHUA JAMES, the CBBB will showcase the music of the great afro-futurist jazz musician SUN RA. Drawing from his extensive oeuvre, the ensemble will present his early, more “straight-ahead” works coupled with his more exploratory, “cosmic” innovations. The Cliff Bells Big Band presents curated concerts featuring a collection of all-star musicians from the Detroit jazz scene.
