The California Native Garden: Spring

The California Native Garden: Spring

Join UCBG horticulturist Jon Kanagy for a seasonal tour through the Garden’s California Collection that combines plant highlights and horticultural tips. For our spring program, we will be observing and discussing garden events and activities that are key for this warming, drying time of year. Along the way, Jon will share plants to consider growing at home and demonstrate related gardening techniques. Let our Garden help inspire your own home garden with California native plants. This workshop is part of a 4-part series that tracks California’s seasonal changing flora along with gardening best practices. This walk follows uneven terrain, with areas of paved and unpaved trail. For accessibility inquiries, please email gardenprograms@berkeley.edu, or call 510-664-7606. Program fee includes Garden Admission: $28 / $24 UC Botanical Garden Members / $10 Students / $8 Museums for All (EBT card)
