The Boy Who Cried Wolf

About this event

Inspired by Aesop’s timeless fable, The Boy Who Cried Wolf is a beautifully crafted, music‑filled theatre experience for children and their families. Created by acclaimed Tutti Frutti Productions and written by award‑winning playwright Mike Kenny, this imaginative retelling unfolds over three winters in a village shaped by sheep, wool, and tradition. The story follows Silas, a restless boy who would rather be anywhere than alone on the mountain tending sheep. When boredom leads him to play a trick, he soon learns that trust—once broken—is difficult to regain. When real danger finally arrives, Silas must find courage within himself to face the wolves and protect what matters most. Performed by a gifted ensemble of actor‑musicians, the production features live folk‑inspired music, playful movement, and inventive storytelling. Warm, funny, and thoughtfully layered, The Boy Who Cried Wolf offers young audiences an engaging introduction to live theatre while exploring honesty, bravery, and community. This performance is suitable for ages 3 and up.
