The Balcony came together with two friends playing as loud as they could on their college apartment balcony, and has since grown into a four-piece, rock band out of Minneapolis. Their music brings both energy and atmosphere somewhere between The Strokes and The Beatles. SigTones is a four-piece rock band from Minneapolis blending tight musicianship and raw stage presence that keeps crowds locked in from start to finish. Woodzen’s sound has been compared to an immense variety of bands (The Grateful Dead, The Wallflowers, The War on Drugs). Melding funk grooves with jazzy saxophone, blistering guitars, ethereal keyboards, and shimmering vocal harmonies, Woodzen shows capture the essence of a jam band that’s not really a jam band.
