Join us at Hotline Studio during the most horrendous month of the year to show your support for the House — permanently. The Edward Gorey House and Hotline Tattoo semi-cordially invite you to our annual ink-splattered Halloween celebration. On October 16th from 12 to 7, we’re kicking off our seasonal festivities with a selection of Edward’s illustrations – from the iconic to the rare – available as flash pieces from the fantastic team of artists at Hotline. Bedeck yourself in Gorey artwork and support a good (well, not morally good) cause at the same time. Feeling less than impulsive? Take a sneak peek some of the available flash below. F.A.Q. How can I enter? Entry will be first come, first serve. How much are tattoos? Flash prices will vary depending on size, complexity, and location. Hotline’s artists will be happy to answer any pricing questions you may have. Can I book a slot in advance? Unfortunately, availability is limited to day-of as we have no way of predicting how long each piece will take and how many visitors Hotline’s artists will be able to accomodate. However, with multiple artists on duty, Hotline assures us that they expect and are prepared for all the Gorey fanatics we can throw at them. Where can I park? Hotline’s parking lot can accommodate approximately 30 vehicles. How will I know if I’m up next? You will be contacted via phone. We ask that you stay close to the studio in order to keep things running smoothly. Is there anything else going on that day? The Edward Gorey House and Hotline Tattoo will be raffling off a selection of rare Gorey books, merchandise, and a Hotline gift card in support of the House. The House will also be open from 11 to 4 (make your reservation here) so you may visit while waiting to get poked quite a lot with a needle.
