Performances are Saturday at 6:30 PM and Sunday at 2 PM as part of the 2026 Scranton Fringe Festival. Written and performed by Joey Daniel, the show invites the audience to play a game of bingo with Bingo Joe. The devoted caller finds himself confronting career and identity obsolescence as artificial intelligence and automation threaten his role. Blending an actual game of bingo with theatrical comedy, the performance explores technology, identity and change through the perspective of its longtime caller. Following its world premiere at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland, the Scranton performances mark the show’s U.S. premiere. Tickets are $15. The Agony and Ecstasy of Bingo Joe brings interactive bingo, comedy and questions about AI and identity to Scranton.
