The 11th Annual Bark Twain Bash

Join the Kenway’s Cause Animal Rescue and The Mark Twain House & Museum for the 11th Annual Bark Twain Bash on Saturday, September 12 at 6pm. It’s the Cat’s Meow joint fundraising event will be held at the museum and this fun, festive and furry evening honors individuals and organizations working in animal rescue, K9 law enforcement, animal control, and animal-related arts and activism. The Bark Twain Bash, co-hosted by WFSB’s Renee DiNino (Hello Connecticut) and Kenway’s Cause Animal Rescue, will feature delicious food from sponsor RastaRant, a cash bar, vendors, a silent auction, and many surprises. Additional support for this event is provided by WFSB 3 Cares. The 2026 Bark Twain Award honorees that will be celebrated on September 12 include: Veterinarian of the Year: Anne Marie Nock, DVM Law Enforcement K9 Duo: Officer Aimee Krzykowski & K9 Casner, Berlin Police Departmen Arts & Animals Group: Southington Animal Rescu Volunteer/Support: Debbie Sheridan, UW-AAB – Dog Behavior Consultant Volunteer/Kennel Support: Becky Conrad, The Simon Foundation Animal Advocacy Group: The Hometown Foundation Tickets are $40.00 and are non-refundable.
