Tentative - Free Herbal Clinic: ArborVitae School of Traditional Herbalism

Community Room, Gardiner Library. ArborVitae's community herb clinic is open to anyone interested in a private health consultation with one of their 3rd year clinical students. Student herbal clinicians work under the supervision of ArborVitae (based in New Paltz) faculty practitioners. ArborVitae practices from a holistic approach to healing and general well-being that seeks balance in all aspects of the individual, including food, lifestyle, and spirit. During the 90 minute session, you will meet with one student practitioner. 1-2 additional student(s) practitioners may observe your session. Clients receive personalized herb, diet and lifestyle recommendations that can best support one’s health. Please note that appointments are required. Session availability is limited, and offered on a first come, first served basis. When requesting an appointment, please make sure that you can commit to attending the appointment. Student clinicians prepare for your appointment in advance, so last-minute cancellations are disruptive to our clinic and prevent others from seeing our herbal clinicians. ArborVitae does not currently have an in-school apothecary, however we do provide you with a list of local herb stores where you can purchase herbs recommended to you, many of which offer ArborVitae clinic participants a discount on herbs and herbal products.
