Jacob Storms’ TENNESSEE RISING: The Dawn of Tennessee Williams (Originally Directed for the Stage by Alan Cumming) has entertained and enthralled audiences around the world since first premiering at the world’s largest solo-play festival, United Solo Fest, where Jacob won the United Solo Award for Best One-Man Show out of 120 solo-plays from six continents. Storms has gone on to perform critically acclaimed runs of the play at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Off-Broadway at Bill T. Jones’ New York Live Arts, The Cell & AMT Theater, in addition to headlining the New Orleans, Provincetown & St. Louis Tennessee Williams Festivals. Other highlights include Seattle’s Intiman Theater, Virginia’s Forbes Center for the Performing Arts & Rochester New York’s Performing Arts Center, The Theater at Innovation Square. Featured in BBC, The Guardian, The Times UK, Playbill, The List Magazine, Fest Magazine, DC Theater Arts, Provincetown Magazine, & more! Nominated for an Off-West End (Offie) Award, Brighton Fringe Award for Excellence, and Gregory Award for Outstanding Original Script.
