About this event
Tempe Tardeada means “afternoon party,” and that’s exactly what we’re planning: a lively outdoor gathering filled with music, dancing, culture and connection. It’s a celebration across generations and a reminder that culture thrives when we come together. This free, family-friendly festival features: Live music and dance- Enjoy performances from folklórico groups, mariachi bands, orchestras, and this year's headline, MKY from American Idol Season 23! Activities for all ages: From crafts and video games to a bounce house, there’s something for everyone can enjoy together. Family Albums Exhibit at Tempe History Museum: Visit the Family Albums exhibit at the Tempe History Museum, a powerful reflection on the lives and legacies of Tempe’s Hispanic families. Local Food Vendors: Treat yourself to authentic, flavorful cuisine from local food vendors.
