About this event

Teens 13-19, join us on the Rooftop Demonstration Garden (weather permitting) to dissect owl pellets and make cyanotypes. Dress for the weather! What's an owl pellet?: a compact, tightly packed mass of undigested parts of an owl's prey—such as bones, fur, feathers, and teeth—that the bird coughs up through its beak What's a cyanotype?: a contact print made by exposing UV reactive chemicals to sunlight.
