About this event
A classic volunteer project with a fun little twist! Join the Youth Action Institute in assembling soup kits for SOME (So Others Might Eat) in our sukkah. These soup kits help SOME’s clients by providing an easy, nourishing meal for those experiencing food insecurity in the DC area. After we finish the project, everyone will be invited to stay for s’mores in the sukkah. Kosher and non-Kosher snacks will be served. Teens ages 11-18 are welcome to join us for this project. This project is eligible for 2.5 SSL hours. Free to attend, but space is limited and advance RSVP is required. If you have any questions, please contact Lyssa at ajellenik@edcjcc.org.
