About this event
Teen Area. Drop in to create zine pages for WISE Teen Voices collaborative zine. This is a great chance to get together with peers, work independently alongside others or with your group, ask questions, and learn what all this is about! This event is offered the first Wednesday of the month from Oct.-Feb. Oct. 7, Nov 4, Dec 2, Jan 6, Feb 3 - come to one or come to all - choose what works for you! WISE is looking for writing and art that moves, informs, and inspires young people working towards a world free of violence. All creative styles are welcome including poetry, painting, drawing, collage, photography, lists, essays, and anything else you want to create! Works should be: under 500 words, or up to a 2 page visual spread your original work connected in some way to creating safer, more connected communities, and ending violence. Four random submissions will each receive a $25 gift card to Nugget Theaters. Submissions are due by February 28, 2027 at wiseuv.org/teen-voices-zine
