Teen Tech Time: Open Lab

About this event

This event will take place in person at Hunts Point Library. Teen Tech Time is a chance to learn how to use the Teen Center’s 3D printers, digital cameras, iPads, and more! 3D print the magical objects from your favorite manga series, or use your storytelling skills to make a short stop-motion animation with an iPad. Technology is a powerful tool for communicating your creativity and ingenuity with the world, and we are here to help you learn the skills that you need to be able to share your voice in this way using our own expertise and the knowledge housed in our collection. Join us this week for Open Lab, during which time you can pick and choose what tech you and your peers want to work with that day. Work on a project solo, or team up to create something together. Our Young Adult Librarians will be there to answer all of your questions, troubleshoot with you, and locate materials in the collection that can help you dive deeper into your project. We can’t wait to see what you create! No registration required. As space allows.
