About this event
Is the book really always better than the movie? You decide! "A young girl strikes up a friendship with her neighbor, an eccentric aviator who tells her stories about a prince from a far-away asteroid whom he once met in the desert. These tales also include the prince's adventures across the cosmos and on Earth, as he encounters talking animals, a foolish businessman and a monarch with no subjects." November's Teen Book + Cinema Club's title is "The Little Prince", by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. We'll convene on Thursday, November 12th at 5pm in Novato Library's Community Room to watch the movie adaptation and vote on whether you enjoyed the book or movie more. Click here to place "The Little Prince" on hold. Please be advised: this movie is rated PG. Ages 11-18 are welcome. Reading the book is not required to attend the movie screening, but is of course encouraged! Our December Teen + Book Club title will be: "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe", by C.S. Lewis. Click here to place the December title on hold. Want to join our Teen Book + Cinema Club newsletter? Sign up here. ADA Accommodation Request
