Teaser Tuesday: Hairspray

Join MSMT at Teaser Tuesday! We’ll be watching the movie Hairspray together as we get excited for our first musical of the season. After the film, we’ll have a Q&A with Broadway World’s Carla Sullwold and MSMT Artistic Director, Curt Dale Clark. A fun quiz will follow, with a chance to win a voucher for two free tickets to Hairspray. This year, Teaser Tuesdays take place at the MSMT Creative Studios: 22 Elm Street, Brunswick. Hairspray is the story of Plus-sized teenager Tracy Turnblad, who auditions to be on Baltimore’s most popular dance show – The Corny Collins Show – and lands a prime spot. Through her newfound fame, she becomes determined to help her friends and end the racial segregation that has been a staple of the show.
