Teaser Tuesday: 1776

Join MSMT for Teaser Tuesday. This week, we’ll watch the movie 1776 in preparation for our second musical this season. After the film, we’ll have a Q&A with Broadway World’s Carla Sullwold and MSMT Artistic Director, Curt Dale Clark. A fun quiz will follow with a chance to win a voucher for two free tickets to 1776. Note that this year, Teaser Tuesdays are held at the MSMT Creative Studios: 22 Elm Street, Brunswick. This film is a lively and energetic adaptation of the Broadway musical comedy of the same name. In the days leading up, Continental Congressmen John Adams and Benjamin Franklin coerced Thomas Jefferson into drafting the Declaration of Independence as they sought to persuade the American colonies to support a resolution for independence.
