**Tampa Hackerspace is joining SINGER’s Teach the World to Sew Day!** Please RSVP for this event on our website: [https://member.tampahackerspace.com/event-6823718](https://member.tampahackerspace.com/event-6823718) On **Saturday, September 19, from 1–4 PM**, join us as we take part in **SINGER’s Teach the World to Sew Day**, a celebration encouraging people everywhere to discover the joy of sewing. This year’s featured project is a simple **sunglass case** — a perfect first project for learning to sew. Never sewn before? That’s exactly what this event is for! We’ll begin with an introduction to using a sewing machine and cover some basic sewing skills. Then we’ll get to the fun part — sewing your own sunglass case to take home. **We’ll provide everything you need — completely FREE!** If you have your own sewing tools, feel free to bring them, but you don’t need to own anything to participate. This class is **open to all ages** and to both **Tampa Hackerspace members and nonmembers**. Beginners are especially welcome.
