TCFC Social Hour at Broken Clock Brewing Cooperative

Finding community is one thing. Finding community where you don’t have to explain or defend your lack of religion is another. Twin Cities Freethinkers of Color was created to give people of color who are atheist, agnostic, secular, humanist, questioning, or otherwise nonreligious a place to simply be—and to find one another. For many of us, religion is deeply woven into our families, cultures, communities, and even everyday conversations. Being nonreligious can sometimes mean keeping that part of yourself quiet, navigating assumptions about what you believe, or finding yourself in conversations where religion is automatically treated as the common ground. TCFC is a space where that common ground is already understood. And while our lack of religion may be what brings us together, it certainly doesn’t have to be all we talk about. Come unwind after work, grab some food and a drink, meet other freethinkers of color, laugh, exchange ideas, and enjoy some good conversation with people you might not have crossed paths with otherwise. We’re heading back to Broken Clock Brewing Cooperative, a spot we’ve enjoyed before, for another relaxed Social Hour. Wednesday, September 9 | 5:00–7:30 PM Broken Clock Brewing Cooperative 1712 Marshall St NE, Minneapolis, MN 55418 There’s no presentation, no formal agenda, and no pressure. Grab what you want to eat or drink, pull up a chair, and join the conversation. Come straight from work, drop in later, stay for an hour, or hang with us for the whole evening. Never been to TCFC before? Come anyway. You don’t need to know anyone walking through the door. New faces are always welcome, and there’s a seat for you here. Come as you are.
