Taste of NC Join us Friday, November 6 from 6-8 PM at the Taste of NC! Burntshirt Vineyards will be participating in this year’s Taste of NC annual food and wine pairing event, held a the Tryon International Equestrian Center’s International Building in Mill Spring! What happens when North Carolina’s talented chefs’ team up with the state’s wineries? An unforgettable culinary experience that celebrates the creativity, craftsmanship, and flavors of North Carolina. Taste of NC is a walk-around food and beverage pairing experience that brings together local chefs and North Carolina wine, cider, and mead producers. Rather than a traditional tasting, each participating chef is paired with a producer to create a curated food and beverage pairing designed to showcase the best of both. Imagine strolling from station to station, discovering a chef’s carefully crafted bite paired with a complementary North Carolina wine, cider, or mead. Each stop offers something different: a new flavor combination, a surprising pairing, or an introduction to a producer you may not have discovered otherwise.
