Hello Fellow NYC TAOP Members Mark your calendars--the Tall Ships are coming to NY Harbor, and it's shaping up to be the photo event of the decade. From July 3-8, 2026, Sail4th 250 will bring the largest-ever international flotilla of tall ships to NYC for America's 250th birthday, with 50+ majestic vessels from 30+ nations joining U.S. and allied naval ships in the harbor. The festivities kick off Friday, July 3 with a Parade of Class B Tall Ships down the East River, followed by the main event on Saturday, July 4--the international Parade of Sail beginning at 9:30 am. From July 5-8, the ships will be docked across the harbor (South Street Seaport, Brooklyn Bridge Park, Governors Island, and Hudson River piers) and open for free public visitation.
