Join us every Monday at 2:30 pm on the labyrinth at Grace Cathedral for a calming and empowering Tai Chi practice led by master instructor Garrett Chinn. Garrett began teaching Tai Chi to seniors and people with disabilities in San Francisco in 1981. Over his remarkable career, he taught at more than 60 senior-serving facilities. He helped establish one of the country’s most extensive Tai Chi programs for older adults at City College of San Francisco. His classes are welcoming to all, with students participating from seated positions to traditional, full-body forms. We’re especially honored that Bishop Austin Rios—a longtime Tai Chi practitioner—has shared his enthusiasm for this meditative movement and will join the class when his schedule allows. Event Details The entrance to the cathedral is at the top of the Great Steps. The accessible entrance is via the glass doors on Taylor Street or from the cathedral garage.
