Virginia Bennett Room. Come and read Tagalog childrens’ books with TagAtPUSD (Tagalog education preservation organization based in Pleasanton). Speaking experience is not required as we do have English translations prepared and non-Filipinos are welcome! The books we will be reading are Palaruang Bahaghari (The Rainbow Playground), by Mark Norman S. Roquiem, and Ara ng Kabaligtaran (Opposite Day) by Jomike Tejido. Doors open at 2PM and close at 3:30 at the Dublin Library on November 8th, 2026! Tagalog Translation: Halina at magbasa ng mga librong pambata sa wikang Tagalog kasama ang TagAtPUSD (ang isang organisasyon nakatuon na panatilihin ng wikang Tagalog, na pinangungunahan ng mga estudyante sa Pleasanton). Hindi kailangan ang karanasan sa pagsasalita ng Tagalog dahil may nakahandang salin sa Ingles. Inaanyayahan din namin ang mga hindi Filipino na makisali at makilahok!Ang mga librong ating babasahin ay Palaruang Bahaghari (The Rainbow Playground) ni Mark Norman S. Roquiem at ang Araw ng Kabaligtaran (Opposite Day) na isinulat naman ni Jomike Tejido.Sumali at magsaya tayo sa Nobyembre 8, 2026 Sabado sa oras na 2:00 - 3:30 sa Dublin Civic Library! This program is geared towards elementary school and middle school aged children, but anyone is welcome as there is space. This program is limited to the first 20 people in line the day of the program. Library staff may take photos, videos, or audio recordings at our events. Please tell us if you do not wish to be photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded. We will always respect your requests. An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least seven (7) days in advance.
