Take a trip around the world and through time with Jazz from America, Cuba, Brazil, and Africa. Separated by distance and culture, there are threads of rhythm and soul that Jazz shares throughout the world and with all generations. Our goal is to demonstrate how jazz has traveled the world and incorporated harmonies, rhythms, and styles from people everywhere. Presented by Kareem Kandi World Orchestra, funded by the City of Tacoma/Tacoma Creates, and hosted by Tacoma Public Library.
