Description: Embark on a classic Table-Top Role Playing Game (TTRPG) style adventure! Over the course of 8 weekly sessions, students will learn the basics of gameplay, character creation, and storytelling with an emphasis on role playing while on an epic quest. Whether you’re new to the game or eager to bring your characters to life with some theatrical flair, this class is the perfect blend of role-playing and expression. Get ready to work together with your fellow adventurers to embark on a grand journey of comradery, bravery, and hijinks fun! *Note: There is no showcase for this class* Teaching Artist: Sully Tyler Tuition: Sliding Scale $25 – $450 Access-for-All: Our access-for-all price sliding scale addresses financial inequities in our community to help lower barriers to students wanting to experience arts education. $400 is the true price that helps us cover operating costs to put on this class. We ask that families that can afford to pay the higher end of the tuition do so that families in our community who would find that cost a barrier can pay on the lower end of the scale. Scholarships: If families still find that the lowest end of the sliding scale is still a barrier, we encourage them to email education@olyft.org to ask how fully funded scholarships work.
