Symposium on Research and Creative Expression (SORCE)

Join us for SORCE 2026 — Valparaiso University’s annual Symposium on Research and Creative Expression – on April 30 from 10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. This campuswide event celebrates the research, scholarship, and creative work our students have been developing throughout the year. Students from across disciplines will present projects, ideas, discoveries, and creative works for the Valpo community and guests to explore. Because SORCE is such an important part of the academic experience, no classes are held that day so students can attend, present their work, and support their peers! Community members, families, and local employers are also invited to attend.
