Sword training

Come learn the Dancing Dragon style of Kenjutsu, the ancient samurai art of sword fighting. This beginner-oriented class will teach you everything from holding the sword, footwork, and the basics of attack, defense, and counter-attack. Wear loose fitting clothes, or whatever you feel comfortable in. We will start with a quick warm up, then go right into teaching the sword. We will be using foam-encased swords so there is little risk of injury. No experience in sword fighting or martial arts is necessary, but martial arts or dance experience will be helpful.
