**Trail Description:** Join us for a fun and moderate hike at Sweetwater Creek Park, located near Lithia Springs, GA. Our 6-8-mile hike will take us along the creek and through the woods. We will meet at the visitor center. **Difficulty Level** Moderate (mixed surface trail). **Distance:** 6-8 miles **Estimated Duration:** 3+ hours **Pace:** Moderate, 2.0-2.5 mph. Dogs must be leashed and under owner control at all times. **Event Guidelines** * We will begin promptly at the listed time. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early so we can start together. * This group is for people ages 18 and over who are Meetup members, and each person may bring up to one adult guest. * Bring water, snacks, and any gear you may need (e.g., trekking poles, flashlight, rain gear). * We welcome beginners. But if you are new to hiking or unsure if you can maintain the listed pace and duration, please do some prep walks in advance.
