Sweet and Savory Pie Night Norway Memorial Library will host a cookbook discussion on Thursday, November 5, at 6:00 pm. The cookbooks selected are Potpies: Yumminess in a Dish by Elinor Klivans and Pie Academy: Master the Perfect Crust and 255 Amazing Fillings with Fruits, Nuts, Creams, Custards, Ice Cream, and More by Ken Haedrich. Before holiday stress sets in, enjoy a night of comfort food and relaxed socializing. The cookbooks are available to browse at the library’s information desk. To attend, select and photocopy a recipe and bring the prepared dish to the discussion. Participants may also bring containers to take away samples. To register or for more information, stop by the library’s information desk or call 743-5309 ext. 1. This event depends on a minimum of five registrants by Thursday, October 29. Norway Memorial Library is located at 258 Main Street, Norway, Maine.
