SVGO Performs at WestFest

The South Valley Guitar Orchestra, under the direction of classical guitarist and educator Sergio Frias, will perform on the Community Stage at WestFest on Thursday, June 18 at 7 pm. The evening will feature a diverse and engaging program including solo performances, duets, and full guitar ensemble works, showcasing the beauty and versatility of the classical guitar. The program will travel through a variety of musical traditions, from Latin American music and traditional folk songs to classical repertoire inspired by composers such as Mozart and Fernando Sor. Audiences will hear works ranging from arrangements inspired by The Magic Flute to beloved melodies such as Cielito Lindo and Yankee Doodle, creating a warm and family-friendly musical experience for the community.
