Surrender Hill and Friends Thanksgiving Weekend Show

About this event

“…one of today’s very best Americana duos… Their last album, the double set Just Another Honky Tonk in a Quiet Western Town, was one of the finest country albums of the decade so far and nothing here falls short of that benchmark… rock and soul elements alongside the familiar country and western and honky tonk sounds…yet another outstanding album.” “It wasn’t intentional, but some of the songs called for an edgier, at times, darker perspective,” says Robin Dean Salmon, who previously spent several years in a rock band signed to a major label and has also produced acts making everything from gospel to metal music. “We ended up exploring a rock & roll edge, balanced equally with tender, Southwestern soul-feeling landscapes.”
