Surface Design: Gilded Gifts

About this event

Saturdays, November 7 - 21, 2026 | 9A - 12P | 3 sessions | $250 Create pieces that will be finished with gold or platinum luster! In the first class, you’ll hand-build small items such as beads, ornaments, small dishes and/or cups that will be fired before the second class. During the second class, you’ll decorate your pieces with underglaze, transfers, and glazes. And finally, in the last class, you’ll apply luster to your glaze-fired pieces. Come make a gift for yourself or a loved one! Supplies: 5 lbs of porcelain clay, platinum and gold luster, underglazes, and some luster decals are included with registration. Additional clay can be purchased through the Supply Shop. If you would like to purchase your own decals, check out Sanbao and Milestone Decal Arts. Speak with Deb before purchasing decals from vendors other than Sanbao and Milestone Decal Arts. Open Studio: Open Studio is included with registration for the duration of your class.
