Sunset hike to Aluminum Yucca with vegans!

(Above sunset shown for illustration purposes only. Actual sunset may vary.) Let's enjoy the sunset and a visit to our mysterious Aluminum Yucca on a hiking adventure with vegans! From the trailhead at the east end of Copper Ave NE we'll take trail 400 east to trail 375 and 365 south and we will end up at the Aluminum Yucca on the north side of I-40. We will investigate the Aluminum Yucca briefly, and learn a bit about its history, and maybe share some spooky stories in the dark before heading north back to the trailhead. Park on Copper Ave. Don't park on the side streets unless you happen to live there and have the appropriate parking permit.Please leave some extra time for parking and prep to help us hit the trail at 6 PM sharp. This is a moderately difficult hike. Roughly 3.5 miles with some lengthy hills. Please be prepared with at least a moderate level of physical conditioning before deciding to attend. Bring a flashlight and water. There are no restroom facilities at the trailhead. You might also consider our 4:30 PM dinner at Vegos to take in some energy for hiking. In case you bring along any snacks for yourself, please respect all participants of this ABQ Vegan event by ensuring that they are completely vegan (no meat, no dairy, no eggs, and no honey).
