Sunday 4 Mile Hike at JMF

Do not use the map dot. Meet at the JMF Welcome Center on Mitchell Hill Rd. The overflow parking is now open so we are back to the old routine. This scenic hike through the woods happens every Sunday. It is a 4-mile moderately paced hike (easy if you are used to hills. Strenuous if you are not) with several stops along the way. One-stop includes views from the scenic Jefferson Memorial Forest Conference Center outlook deck where you will see much of Jefferson County and Southern Indiana. It's a great way to enjoy nature, like-minded people, and a little exercise along the way. There are two large hills. Well behaved pets are welcome. For anyone interested in a faster pace workout hike, a --separate-- hike after this one if you are looking for a more strenuous pace.
