Summer Sun Celebration

This is a family friendly celebration as we head into summer. Would you like to have a place to bring your children where you can learn together about nature and how it is tied to our connection with God? Practical skills along with lots of fun hands-on activities are always on the agenda! All ages are welcome - with or without children. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Meetup Flow for the Summer Sun Celebration: * Opening Circle * Story - Arrow To The Sun: A Pueblo Indian Tale * Nature Walk - walk the trails of Crossing Hedgerows Sanctuary and nibble herbs along the way as Jean shares some of her herbal wisdom. * Learn how to read a sundial * Harvest some chamomile and make chamomile tea together. * Picnic Lunch (bring your own) - get to know others in the community. * Craft - Summer Suns - a fanciful child friendly craft and decoration you can hang in your garden or house * Closing Song \-\-\-Items to bring: A picnic lunch\, boots or hiking shoes\, water bottle\, and camp chairs \(optional\)\-\-\- Each meetup is $25 for an individual, plus $5 for each additional family member. ($20 for an individual who is a member of Crossing Hedgerows Sanctuary on Patreon at the Friends level or above). This also covers the cost of craft supplies.
