Summer Cinema: A League Of Their Own (1992)

A League of Their Own (1992) is a heartwarming comedy-drama about the first female professional baseball league, created during WWII. Starring Geena Davis, Tom Hanks, and Madonna, it follows sisters Dottie and Kit as they join the Rockford Peaches. The team, managed by a reluctant Jimmy Dugan, faces sexism and skepticism but gains popularity, culminating in the sisters facing off in the World Series. This film is rated PG.
