Meeting Room. Participants will gain insights into the Dia de Muertos tradition, which is celebrated in Mexico and other regions globally, by decorating pre-molded sugar skulls using colorful paint, sequins, tissue paper flowers, mini paper banners and Papel picado. Altars are put in place days before Dia de Muertos (November 1 and November 2) to remember loved ones, this tradition is a blend of Indigenous practices and Catholic beliefs. Instructor will have printed fun educational material for young audiences while siblings work on their project, crayons and coloring pages. Registration encouraged. All ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
