Sugar Cane Festival

Cross posted with another meetup group. Trying to establish a group of people in the Lakeland/Winter Haven area, so we can expand meetups to other local festivals, activities, museums, movies, theater, and day trips. This will be my first time hosting meetup for this group. Lets support a local Festival, the Sugar Cane Festival in Lakeland area. Come one, come all, but most of all our nearby Lakeland/ Winter Haven area members. Let's Step back in time and experience the sweetness of tradition at local Sugar Cane Festival! 🌾🍂 Join us at the Kathleen Area Historical Society Heritage Park as fresh sugarcane is harvested from the on-site field and made into syrup right before your eyes. This festival will celebrate local history, community, and harvest season with vendors, food, family fun, live demonstrations, and more. Trust us — this is an event you won’t want to miss! Come join us for a nice, friendly afternoon learning about sugar cane, and meeting new friends!! Sponsored by Heritage Harvest Market at Kathleen Historical Society Hetitage Park.
