Strummerville All-Stars & Ukulele Club play One Night Art School!

Strummerville Hits One Night Art School! Fresh off our triumphant set at Strummin' Up to Boston, the Strummerville Ukulele All-Stars (and any Strummerville folk who want to join us) are taking our ukuleles to Union Square for a night unlike any other we've done. One Night Art School July 30th, 6-10pm (our set: 6:00-7:00pm) Please arrive by 5:45 PM Darth Vader Building 10 Prospect Street · Somerville, MA Please try to arrive by 5:30pm so we have time to get set up, tune, etc. Ever wish you'd gone to art school instead of whatever you actually did with your life? Here's your chance, no transcripts required. This is an immersive pop-up experience hosted by Somerville Arts Engine, a collective of Somerville's arts organizations and businesses, and for one night the whole building becomes a playground. Draw a stranger at the portrait party. Get coached on how to make people laugh at the open mic. Try a different kind of mixology, the kind with paint instead of gin. Learn to juggle like you ran away to the circus after all. And from 6:00 to 7:00pm, we'll be right in the middle of it, strumming and singing, bringing some Strummerville energy to the chaos. Stick around after to take in everything else the night has to offer. Come play with us. No experience required, just bring a uke if you've got one and a sense of fun either way.
