Stroll Through History at Oakwood Cemetery

This free community event is an informal tour of Historic Oakwood Cemetery covering different topics each month. This monthly event is intended to appeal to first time and dedicated visitors alike. Attendees will explore a new section of the cemetery each month. Your guide will share new research as well as old stories not told on our more structured tours. Stroll through history is a small group tour, last minute changes to curriculum and route to meet group interests and ability are expected and welcome. What to bring: \- Water \- Weather appropriate clothing \- Questions about local history\, the cemetery\, and the death industry\.
