About this event
Meeting Room. Lil Rosies Teaching Artist, Breanna, from The Rose Theater will be visiting to lead an interactive reading of the beloved book Creepy Carrots by Aaron Reynolds. Children and families will get to enjoy the story, participate in fun theater activities, and get excited as we prepare for Bunnicula at The Rose Theater. Storytime focuses on early literacy skills through simple songs, dance, play, and short stories designed for active toddlers and their participating caregiver(s). Recommended for children 3-5 years, though children of all ages are welcome. Parents/caregivers must remain with their child(ren) for the duration of the program and are encouraged to help younger children with the activity. Childcare groups and other groups larger than 10, please call in advance. All Omaha Public Library locations are wheelchair accessible.
