Ruth Halpern has been telling stories her whole life. She even created a major in “Forms of Narrative” at UC Berkeley so she could learn more about the power of stories. Ruth performs folktales from around the world that convey universal wisdom and laughter, made for retelling. Her recording “She Set Out to Seek Her Fortune” won a Parents’ Choice Gold Award. According to the LA Times, she is a “spell-binding master storyteller.” Come to South Stage Cellars and immerse yourself in her stories! South Stage Cellars storytelling flyer
