About this event
Stories to Hold the Darkness - A Night of Halloween Stories Hosted by Bill Halloween is traditionally when the Otherworld draws close. We respond to this special time by using imagination to explore our relationship to darkness, uncertainty, and death. Join us for a special circle where we honor the ancestors by listening to stories that proclaim our fears and explore our mortality. (Some of these stories may be overwhelming for young children and triggering for adults with a history of trauma. Please use your best judgment.) \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- Requested contribution is $15 ($10 - $15 sliding scale). While attendance for this event is free, please consider contributing to help with facility rental, technology maintenance and event organization. Your contributions are most appreciated. [PayPal/Credit/Debit](http://bit.ly/sca_contribution) or [Venmo](https://venmo.com/code?user_id=3431717993973108331&created=1660606894.0910401&printed=1) or cash/check at the door for in-person events. If paying online, please provide in the comments, your name, date and event information. \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- This Circle is for anyone interested in shamanic practice. Shamanism is not a religion or a dogma. It is not dependent on any particular organizational structure or belief system, but is a practical world view based on ancient understanding of the relationships between humans and nature or Spirit. The shamanic perspective on life and living is extremely relevant to the challenges and concerns of our modern world and ordinary life experiences, and is compatible with all religious and spiritual beliefs. We would also like to offer some resources that should be helpful to you. Please do take advantage of them when you need to. They are free to download here: http://bit.ly/spi_resources.
