About this event
This program will feature Lance Tahmahkera, a great-great-grandson of Comanche Chief Quanah Parker. Lance will share stories ranging from the origins of the Comanche, life on the plains and reservation, and the lives of Cynthia Ann and Quanah Parker, to current day events. Adding to the experience, Lance will bring a collection of authentic Comanche artifacts, including a buckskin dress, regalia, beadwork, bow and arrows, and more, offering a hands-on look at the craftsmanship and traditions of his ancestors.
