Registration is for all six weeks, including the performance. By popular demand, Stories of a Lifetime 6 week workshop for seniors 55+ second session added! Are you a senior (age 55+) in New Jersey eager to connect with your community, share your unique experiences, and explore your creative side? Union County Performing Arts Center (UCPAC) proudly presents a free six-week workshop titled “Stories of a Lifetime.” Through guided prompts and group discussions, senior writers will explore a variety of themes, connecting through a personally meaningful lens. They will craft pieces that reflect diverse voices and lived wisdom. Our wonderful instructors will assist in enriching character, individual voice, structure and dramatic stakes. This workshop will culminate in a public performance with professional actors accompanying our senior storytellers performing these new, original pieces. Returning participants are encouraged to join and will have the opportunity to explore new prompts and writing techniques. Your journey, your words.
