In this still life drawing class designed for beginners ages 18+, you will learn how an artist sees their subject. Combining your sharp observation skills and pencils and charcoal, students will learn to draw a simple still life. Artists will learn about: How an artist sees their subject - Color values (light/dark, and how they interact) - Perspective - Composition - Pencil and charcoal techniques Lifelong skills we’re building: - Observation - Attention span - Hand-eye coordination - Spatial reasoning - Working memory Age Range: 18+ Dates: September 10 Times: 6pm-8pm Location: Kentuck's Studio 2 Tuition: $50 all supplies included
