Stephen Barrett

Stephen Barrett is back at the Lyric Thursday, October 29th during Parade of Pumpkins! Stephen Barrett, born in 2002, is fairly new to playing publicly, but has had a blast branching out and growing in central Alabama. His love for music began at an early age with a wide array of music played regularly at home… there was always music playing! He is an “old soul” with a passion for older music, especially of the country genre. He grew up in Elmore County and graduated from Wetumpka High School in 2021. Some of Stephen’s greatest influences in music include Keith Whitley, Merle Haggard, George Jones, Randy Travis, Vince Gill along with a few favorites from right here in Alabama, Hank Williams, Sr. (and Jr.), Riley Green and Muscadine Bloodline.
