STEMsgiving: A Very Experimental Craft Hour

Get ready for a Thanksgiving twist on science fun! In this hands-on craft, kids will turn balloons into festive turkeys and launch them down a string track to see how far and fast they can fly. Along the way, we’ll explore Newton’s Third Law of Motion (how every action has an equal and opposite reaction) while having plenty of giggles watching our turkey balloons zoom. For ages 6 to 13. How to Attend Register by the start of the event. Chicago Public Library cannot collect personal information online from kids 0 to 13. A parent or guardian’s email address must be used to register.
